Rite-of-Passage for Teenage Girls

Almost all religions, third world nations, and American charity organizations have a way of bringing their young men and women into adulthood. But what does the Christian community at large have for our young people today?

Royalty  is such a rich word. However, our culture is not accustomed to things that acquaint itself with royalty. It is evident that we are still fascinated by the subject. Think of the classic princess stories that every one has seen: Snow White, Cinderella and in recent years the Princess Diaries and Shrek.   In our reality based society most often it is only the beauty and homecoming queen that receives a crown. Yet, almost every girl today still dreams of the moment when they could be publicly crowned a princess.

Our Becoming a Modern Day Princess programs are purposed to bring teenage girls into the reality that they are worthy of being treated respectfully because of who they’ve been created to be; discover that they have a family background that often embraces some royalty from their tribe or nation; helps them to recognize the wealth they have in valuable relationships that surround them; and encourages the power of beauty within. Our hope is that they will walk away from this study and their Night of Celebration validated by their adult community as young women of integrity.

I hope that you will take a moment to read the Testimonials and view the pictures in The Gallery. It will enable you to see the joy and value of our faith-based and community outreach programs.

Becoming a Modern Day Princess has changed the lives of thousands of girls in the last decade as they walked from adolescence into young womanhood through this rite-of-passage journey.  This passage culminates with a celebration attended by invited family and friends. When each girl’s father, or another man of integrity of her choice, publicly speaks words of blessing and places a tiara upon her head it is a moment of a life-time. She has become a true Modern Day Princess.

I pray that this will capture your heart and you will soon be on this rite-of-passage journey with your daughter or girls!
