The Power of
Networking Women

The Power of Networking Women

is an inter-denominational ministry united to pray,

prepare for, and participate in the works
of service to which God has called us.

Our Purpose

·   Gather women in leadership within the church and local ministries for monthly prayer, fellowship, and preparation for community outreach. This being a place where you can share your needs, be encouraged, and challenged to “to continue rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, and contributing to the needs of the saints.” Romans 12:12-13.

·         Bring visibility to ministries that are available in the South Bay.

·         Providing opportunities for local churches or ministries to invite other congregations to their special event (special speakers, revival meetings, etc.) or other programs such as, Bible studies, Vacation Bible schools or prayer gatherings.

Our Prayer

That you, as a leader, will be uplifted and refreshed through prayer and fellowship

To support you, your church or your ministry

Provide opportunity for you, the women of your church, and your church as a whole to

participate in the greater work that God is bringing to our communities.

Our Passion

Through our unity others will see the love of Christ through us

and will desire to have a relationship with the Heavenly Father through His son Jesus Christ.

Originally established in January 2001, under the name of South Bay Women's Outreach (SBWO) founded by Doreen Hanna, members consisted of 17 women's ministry leaders, pastor's wives, and women on pastoral staff of various churches and denominations in Southern California's South Bay communities. The Power of Networking Women desires to:

“ …Live and act in a way worthy of those who have been chosen for such wonderful blessings.  Be humble and gentle.  Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.  Try always to be led together by the Holy Spirit, and so be at peace with one another.

We are all parts of one body, we have the same Spirit, and we have all been called to the same glorious future.  For us there is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and we all have the same God and Father who is over us all and in us all and living through all of us. “  Ephesians 4:1-6 (LB)
