Encouraging, Enthustiastic, Exciting  Like
most of us, Doreen Hanna had plenty of obstacles that could
have prevented her from finding the wealth contained
in her own life. With perseverance, she chiseled away at
hard-edged relationships that were like lumps of coal. Ultimately,
she broke through using tools such as kindness and humor
to uncover the precious gems nestled in the hearts of those
she loves.
Today,
Doreen’s passion is to empower women
to live life adventurously – discovering their hidden treasures! This
being a hallmark of her own character she often speaks courageously to male
audiences of their inherent authority and how to effectively use it to bring
security and hope to those in their care – the representation of
true wealth.
In the
year 2000, she founded Treasured Celebrations, a non-profit
organization. This equipped her to provide
a riteof- passage program that celebrates a young girl’s step from
adolescence to womanhood. Today, thousands of girls, their families,
schools, faith-based organizations and at-risk teen shelters have been
highly impacted
by the Becoming a Modern Day Princess program. |

The
Challenges of Addiction & Co Co-dependency For more than 20 years Doreen and her family lived on the slippery
slopes of alcoholism. Her husband Chad, a functioning alcoholic,
managed to keep a high profile position in the hotel industry,
while Doreen struggled to keep up a good front for their daughters,
family, and friends. Today, they share (separately and together)
how Chad came to the place of “looking in the mirror” to
answer his own question “
Why Me?” while Doreen sought help for her co-dependency.
Their pursuits resulted in recovery, the reconciliation of
their marriage, and rebuilding healthy relationships with those
they love.
